SHOEI's in-house wind tunnel testing has yielded significant improvements in the J-Cruise II's ventilation performance, with an extra intake hole in the upper air ventilation system increasing the air volume entering the helmet by approximately 30 percent.
The helmet's aerodynamic design has been wind tunnel-optimized to strike the perfect balance between airflow and silence. The compact, aerodynamic shell shape with an integrated spoiler, streamlined air intake, and exhaust vent covers have resulted in a reduction of lift force by 7 percent and a reduction of forward drag force by 1 percent.
Refined in SHOEI's in-house wind tunnel, the J-Cruise II's aerodynamic shell shape and all-new, airtight window beading provide a wind/waterproof seal, reducing wind noise. The integrated air dam also helps to reduce wind turbulence inside the shield.
The J-Cruise II's CJ-2 shield and base plate offer a massive field of vision, protecting riders from 99% of the sun's damaging UV rays. The shield is Pinlock EVO Ready (lens sold separately) and provides smooth and easy changes.
The built-in QSV-2 sun shield is 5mm longer, giving riders improved, instant relief from sun glare in one quick motion. The helmet's Multi-Ply Matrix AIM shell is made using proprietary technology to integrate a multi-ply matrix specifically designed to meet DOT standards, with the forehead area raised for the internal sun shield.
The 3D Max-Dry Interior System is fully removable, washable, replaceable, and adjustable, three-dimensionally shaped to match the contours of a rider's head for advanced comfort and safety.
